Greg built a small wall on the back to hang a mirror on that we use for grooming, HA.  He reused most of the old fence hung horizontally to match what he did last year.  Its not finished yet, but you can see the progress.

Greg has started building a small arbor that will have some plants growing up and over at some point. Inside the the fence we redid the walk way and added more rock and some decomposed granite. One day we will plant a tree again in small circle.

Well we finally painted the house. It was our first project when we got to the house this year. We painted just before christmas. I’ve been really lazy about posting pictures this year, but will try to be better! The first image is just the paint job and the second shows more work done on the front fence.

 

 

 

Just before we left we had 8 tons of rock delivered for the front yard.

So over the last few days I have been scrapping and priming the eves of the house. Another coat of primer and we can start the top coat. Hopefully by the end of the month I will have the body of the house painted, YAY!

Over Christmas we saw a couple of chairs that would have been perfect for us, had they been for sale. So if anyway see chairs like the ones in the photo please let us know.

Well we started the front fence. There is still a top cap and trim for the street side to be finished. Greg is going line the inside with wood so we are not looking at shiny metal. I started the rusting process by coating the street side with muriatic acid, then vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, and finally salt water washes. It has yet to rust as magically as all the claims on the internet, but it is not shiny anymore.

The roof is finished!

The new roof is being put on right now. Hopefully the guys will finish today. Yesterday they put in a small dome skylight in the bathroom. This is great because there was no natural light before, dye to the bathroom being in the center of the house.
